Pennsylvania – Grauer’s Paint & Decorating has announced the acquisition of Colormaxx, located in Carlisle, as part of its strategy to expand its presence in Central Pennsylvania. As a result of this acquisition, the Carlisle store is scheduled to officially reopen under the Grauer’s brand on June 9. This will mark the fifth location in Grauer’s network, joining existing stores in Lancaster, Lititz, Reading (West Lawn), and Mechanicsburg.
The acquisition aims to enhance accessibility for customers in Carlisle who previously traveled to the Mechanicsburg location for their paint and decorating needs. Grauer’s Paint & Decorating will provide a comprehensive selection of products at the new Carlisle store, including Benjamin Moore paints, Hunter Douglas window treatments, wallpaper, paint sundries, custom color matching, and local delivery services.
In anticipation of the transition, Colormaxx will cease operations on May 30. Customers in the Carlisle area are encouraged to reach out to the Mechanicsburg location for any inquiries or deliveries until the new store opens. The new Grauer’s Paint & Decorating store will retain the current Colormaxx phone number for customer convenience.
The hours of operation for the new store will be as follows: Monday to Friday: 7 AM – 5 PM, Saturday: 8 AM – 3 PM, and Sunday: Closed.
The acquisition of Colormaxx aligns with Grauer’s long-term goal of broadening its reach in the region. The company, recognized for its commitment to offering premium products and services, views this expansion as a natural extension of its business philosophy. The focus remains on providing exceptional customer service and top-quality products to enhance the home-improvement experience for residents in the Carlisle area.
With the opening of the Carlisle store, Grauer’s aims to improve convenience for local customers by reducing travel time for those seeking high-quality paint and decorating options. The presence of a Grauer’s location in Carlisle is expected to foster community engagement and support for local homeowners in their painting and decorating projects.
Grauer’s Paint & Decorating has cultivated a strong reputation within the Central Pennsylvania region by dedicating itself to customer satisfaction and quality. The company’s existing locations have successfully catered to a diverse clientele, providing various products essential to home decor.
The acquisition of Colormaxx further strengthens Grauer’s market position and creates an opportunity to introduce Benjamin Moore products, a brand synonymous with excellence in the paint industry. By integrating Colormaxx’s offerings and enhancing the service range, Grauer’s looks forward to establishing itself as the go-to source for homeowners and professionals alike in the Carlisle market.
As residents prepare for the transition from Colormaxx to Grauer’s Paint & Decorating, the upcoming reopening is viewed as an exciting development by both the company and the local community.
