This ranking highlights the academic prowess and research reputation of universities across the globe, encompassing over 2,250 institutions from 104 different countries.

The University of Pennsylvania surpassed other notable institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, which ranked 16th, and Cornell University, which ranked 18th. Following closely is the University of Pittsburgh, positioned at 55th globally, making it the second-highest-ranked university in the state.

Other Pennsylvania universities included in the rankings are Pennsylvania State University at 94th, Carnegie Mellon University at 128th, and Temple University at 363rd. Drexel University was ranked 495th, with Villanova University at 823rd, Lehigh University at 995th, and Duquesne University being the lowest-ranked at 1,898th globally.
